Regardless if you’re brand new or you’ve been trying to build your email list for a while, this is one of the most important skills to master. If you skip almost everything else and just focus on how to build your email list, then your list will grow with subscribers.

When you’re first starting out it’s a slow process because you’re learning how to get visitors to your website, but as you get more involved and really invest into your business, it gets better and better.

The key to producing income in this industry is being able to present your offer/product in front of lots of people who’re interested.

That’s why it’s so important to build your email list. Without it, you will have to consider face to face marketing and try to convince people they need what you’re selling.

Build an email list and make more money.

Obviously if you build an email list you should email the people on your list right?

The first thing everyone says is to start building an email list if you want to make money online, so I did. My wife asked me one day how many times I’ve been emailing my list in the last month and I said “I haven’t”.

The expression she gave me was one of those “you’re an idiot” look.

At that time I thought she was just overreacting and I didn’t really understand why she was getting so upset with me for not sending out emails. I didn’t feel like I had anything valuable to say or share so I didn’t email.

So I learned if you put zero effort into emailing your list after you have spent the time and effort to acquire them, they’ll simply unsubscribe when you write a few sentences and send them a link. Basically sending emails with little or no value that helps anyone.

So now I take the time to write emails on things I learn, courses I paid for and spent time studying, my failures, my successes and I even share things I’m doing in my life.

I try to share small bits of value in every email.

This is how you build a loyal tribe of people that know you, like you, trust you and buy from you when you recommend products.

By focusing everyday on how I could help them learn something new or share something with them that would help them along in their journey.

Most marketers don’t care about their email subscribers and look at them as only a number.

Realize the money is in the relationship you have with the people on your list and they will only buy when they trust you.

With all of the people doing shady things on the internet you need to build trust first and let them see you’re there to help them.

Focus all your efforts on helping them first and soon you will see every email you send becomes more and more valuable.

Email your list often.

There’s a reason why you need to build your email list. It’s what will make the most money for you and I want you to realize how important it is to your business.

As I mentioned earlier, I didn’t want to piss someone off and have people unsubscribe, but I no longer care.

If someone doesn’t see the value you have to deliver, then it’s their loss.

You should be emailing often because you want to build your tribe and get people used to seeing your name in their inbox often.

Would you talk to your friends often or just once a month?

If you want to build a real business, that means you need to take time to send out an email daily.

Or 4 times a week at minimum.

As you build your email list, this can be overwhelming and you may feel resistance to sending the emails, but the purpose of writing often is to master the skill.

I was sending emails when I had my very first subscriber. Thanks Mom!

I wanted to get good fast so by the time I got good at building my list, people would want to read, engage and follow me.

By the time I learned to build an email list, I was able to write emails that resonated with my subscribers.

The more you write the better you get.

Eventually people will look forward to hearing from you, they will buy from you and they will follow you.

I ask you this….

Is it too much effort to write an email and learn to develop a skill that can make you money every single day?

Today’s topic will be about things that will save you time, money and frustration when you’re building a successful business, so I would suggest that you take time to read it because I believe it’s important to your online success.

I’ve been thinking about my journey so far, when I started and what I wanted to achieve in business and life.

At the same time I’ve been looking around at other successful people in the industry and I noticed something very similar.

These people are good at a few skills and they mastered those skills better than everyone else in the market place.

One thing that separates the people who build successful businesses and the people who jump from one opportunity to the next looking for “the one” that will make them money is…….COMMITMENT.

They commit to themselves, their dreams, to their business and family when they make the decision from the day they start…I will be successful.

People who never commit…they’re looking for shortcuts or ways to skip the process to get instant success, which doesn’t happen.

So now let’s dive into the things that will save you time, money and frustration and how it applies to your business.

There are many internet money making opportunities available if you are looking to start you own business or make some extra cash.

Before you jump into the next best thing and become the next internet millionaire.

You need to analyze the opportunity you are considering.

Many of these internet based opportunities that are available today are flat out scams. These people are just looking for a quick buck and prey on your emotions.

Others may not be scams and the creator of the program may have good intentions.

But often fall short delivering the value.

Then there are those programs and products that will truly help you start a business and make it profitable. How do you know which ones are legitimate?

Unfortunately, it’s difficult to know which money making opportunities (MMO) are legitimate and which are scams.

Many times you won’t know until you’ve already spent your money or time on them.

But you can protect yourself with simple due diligence on what you’re considering.

Do you realize that when site owners are trying to sell you a product or money making opportunity, they are using strong emotional triggers to get you to purchase what they are offering immediately.

Websites are designed to strike at your emotions, your needs and your wants. If you keep this one thought in mind it may help you defer an impulse purchase.

The best advice I can give you when searching for an online opportunity.

Is not to buy anything until you have researched it thoroughly.

I know, not very exciting, but your goal is to simply determine which is the best opportunity available for you.

These opportunities are not going anywhere. They will be there tomorrow and the next day if they are legitimate.

The website may say that this is a limited time offer.

The price will increase so get in now before it’s too late!

Sometimes this is true, but most of the time this is done to get you to purchase NOW! Be strong.

Top Earner Mindset

Top Earner Mindset. This is what every leader in every industry has in common, it can be seen in everything they touch and every business they run.

It’s something that you will need to have yourself if you ever want to climb to the top of any industry and earn big.

I know this because I associate with a top earner every day and I have the opportunity to witness it first hand.

Top earner mindset, the ability to focus on one task, and one task only.

A laser focus approach to every aspect of business marketing. This is the one thing that really separates the top earners in any industry.

A mistake I see many marketers (including me at one time!) still make is being a jack of all trades, and master of none.

For example, a person comes online, they jump from program to program, never choosing a single method.

They never stick around long enough to make it work for them, to get consistent over time.

This is a mistake you need avoid at all costs, because in the long term you will lose everything.

Having a top earner mindset means you’re willing to learn whatever it takes to make it happen.

That’s half the battle.

Knowing the concepts and principles of success and what really makes a business a business is very important.

Along with this top earner mindset is another aspect that is important and that is discernment.

Discernment is the aspect of network marketing is having the mindset to separate busy work from what works.

People think if they’re busy, then they’re on the way to the top.

But that will never work in this competitive industry.

Another top earner mindset that I have observed is the knowledge and satisfaction that comes from being intensely focused on one task at a time.

What I’m talking about here is the results produced from becoming a master of one thing, that is the real reward of a specific focus.

What every successful network marketer has eventually learned is that you must become proficient at one task.

If you try and move on to other methods and add more stuff, this will result in being overwhelmed and confused.

Do you really want to take you internet marketing to the next level within the next 100 days?

Then decide you’re going to do this by utilizing content marketing or videos for example.

And the way you’re going to accomplish this is by writing a different blog (or video) each day.

Then promote it on ONE social media channel until you become specifically and intensely focused on this task.

That means you don’t try and learn another method 5 days in, but you stay the course and see it through 100 days.

Your success will come down to your daily plan, and most people treat their business like a hobby. When you’re building your business, you have to remember that you’re the boss.

Everyone has thought about leaving their day job at least once, but the reality is the online business you’re building is your dream job.

Don’t expect to work just 60 minutes and make a thousand dollars immediately.

When you lead from the front, you should be working to stay there, and not let anyone pass you up.

This is why when people are doing well, they let up on the gas.

They get comfortable, start slacking off and and let their business stall.

If you’re serious about your business.

You need to create a disciplined daily plan and follow it consistently every single day.

My routine looks like this:

Wake up and look at myself in the mirror and give thanks.
Head to the coffee pot and get it going.
Fire up the laptop
Write blog posts that will help my audience
Write Facebook posts
Spend time answering questions or emails
Repeat every single day of the week.

When you learn to discipline yourself to get the tasks done, you’ll enjoy the process and love the journey.

Your success will come down to your daily plan.

When you get home from your job, your time is your most precious asset and you must utilize that time wisely.

Don’t procrastinate because it’s only going to keep you in that job longer.

If you’re starting to make an excuse right now, you need to understand that these excuses will not allow you to leave your 9 to 5.

I still hate doing it too, going to work and coming home tired and still working on my business.

Sometimes I hate doing the same things every single day because when I got into this business, I believed the slick sales pages that said I was going to get rich doing nothing.

But as I later realized, this business is a job, and I’m the boss.

Your success will come down to your daily plan.

Your words can make a BIG difference.

Your words can make a big difference in everything you do. When I hear people using words like…

I hope
I’m going to try
I wish

But…..what you don’t realize is that words like this are holding you back.

You should replace those words with:

I will
I can
I’m going to

I believe when you say things like “I hope” or “I will try”

You’re really saying “I know I’m going to fail”.

You set yourself up for failure before you ever get started.

You’re making a bit too much of this word play nonsense.

There is no data that proves that simply muttering positivity all day long, you will have a big bank balance or have paved a path to success.

However when you say phrases like “I will”, you soon start to believe in your vision and your mind takes over and guides you to the goal.

Not only do your words have power with influencing yourself, but they influence others to join you in your business as well.

Do you think someone wants to work with someone who says I will try?

People want to work with Do’ers and not people who try things out.

This doesn’t just apply to business, it applies to everything in your life.

No matter if it’s your business, it’s a personal relationship or it’s becoming a better version of yourself, if you don’t make a DECISION to make it work….. it won’t.

This has been a huge transformation in my life and when I changed the way I thought, and everything else in my life started falling into place.
