Today I want to talk to you about how small steps can change your life by simplifying everything you do and using your time wisely by focusing on your focus.

If your online business is not making money or you’re not having much success at all, you need to read this right now, soak it in and apply it to your life.

Most people are focus challenged.

They’re going through the motions, but they’re really just wandering aimlessly in all directions.

This leads to frustration and overwhelm, then we add the real deal breaker, the lack of results.

It starts to make you think that the people making thousands a day are a special breed and you’re just not meant for this online biz thingy… Am I right?

Well, what if I told you that your lack of results are your fault. Might sound harsh, but let me explain.

Everything in your life is your fault, everything!

When I was younger, my way of thinking was that the world owed me something.

Back then, I was pounding nails and spinning wrenches to pay the rent and provide for my family.

Things were ok, but I really wanted to change our way of life, sometimes I didn’t make wise decisions.

Those days were filled with self doubt and I would sit at the bar after work, listening to peoples stories and wondering if this was my future too.

Sitting there, I realized I was responsible for everything that happened in my life up to this point.

The key to making money or doing anything you want to achieve is focusing on simplicity.

Step 1: Decide what it is you actually want.

When it comes to making money online, most people see someone making 50k a month, so they say “I want to make that much too.”

This isn’t realistic and that’s why you’re not making money.

Decide right now how much do you need to live a good life for you.

Comparing yourself to someone else is toxic, focus on your needs.

Step 2: Figure out what you will promote.

Let’s face it, no money will ever be made without selling something.

My first sale of $33 was from a low ticket product, but it was easy enough to get started with that.

I did the math and determined that 5k a month would allow me to build a work from home business.

5k earning $33 commissions comes to 151 sales monthly, no thanks!

I knew if I was going to make my money goal, something needed to change.

That’s when my “ah-ha” moment happened.

It would be easier to sell higher quality products and services at a premium price.

It’s much easier to find 3 or 4 customers who want a better experience, better products and better service than 151 new customers every month.

That’s why I use this program myself and it’s allowed me to grow my business because I just focus on driving leads and they do all the selling for me.

That’s the power of simplification.

Step 3: Make a daily plan.

Bruce Lee said “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks. I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

Decide on 1 traffic source you will focus on, what offer you will promote, how many leads you need to generate daily and how many sales you need to reach your goal.

Focus on these things daily and over time, you will get so damn good at them.

Step 4: Take daily action on your plan.

Just starting a new business isn’t going to do a thing for you.

Set your plan and work your plan daily, things will happen when you follow your plan!

Step 5: Measure your progress for at least 30 days before changing anything.

I believe that being successful is all about your habits, not about a secret system or method.

Do things for 30 days, determine if what you’re doing is working.

Figure out what’s working and do more of it, tweak what isn’t working to get better results.

This is how you move forward and get the results you need to accomplish your goals.

Step 6: Believe in yourself!

Most people don’t start their business or do the things they know they need to do because a lack of belief.

They do something for 3 or 4 days and then quit and say it’s not working.

It’s not the business that doesn’t work, it’s the person.

Remember everything is your fault! If other people are getting results doing something and you’re not it’s because they’re doing what needs to be done and working their plan.

Don’t worry about people who make excuses and don’t get results.

I just tell myself if they’re doing it “then damn it, so can I.”

When you believe it’s possible for you then you will stop making excuses and put in the work.

If you don’t believe it’s possible for you then you need to stop right now and ask yourself…why are you wasting your time pursing this?

Not too long ago I was hopelessly searching for the secret, you know, the secret method or the trick that all of so called gurus know that you don’t know.

Well after being in this industry for a while, and after a lot of trail and a ton of error, I learned just how simple the “secret” really is.

Most people don’t have the determination to see things through!

It all comes down to doing the same things daily to get the results you desire.

So I want to break things down for you on what you should be doing and what to focus on to get results.

If you apply these steps and stop trying to overcomplicate things you will amaze yourself what you can achieve in a short period of time.

Pick a good business opportunity – Most people buy every product they can find.

There’s a reason I only promote one or two good programs and stick with them.

In Boy Scouts, I learned if you hold a magnifying glass to the piece of paper it will burn and you could start a fire.

But, if you moved the magnifying glass around without focusing the sunlight, it wouldn’t work.

Well most people do the latter and not the former.

Now once you pick your program, DECIDE you will be a producer and don’t flip flop around.

Pick a traffic source – My favorite traffic sources are blogging, YouTube and Facebook.

You must master one source at a time and get so good at it that you bring steady leads in day in and day out.

It’s a numbers game, the more leads you bring in, the more money you will make (pretty simple).

Once you make money, don’t spend it on useless crap.

Reinvest it back into your business.

I generate traffic, get leads, build relationship with those leads and make money.

Build a relationship with your list – This is where most people drop the ball.

They just spam their list with new offers every day.

They have no respect for the people reading their emails or following them.

Believe me, it just doesn’t work that way.

It’s really as simple as providing a few helpful tips you learn in your business.

And guiding people on what they should do and suggesting products to solve their problems.

If you just put 10 minutes into writing a good email daily, it will make a difference.

Reinvest your profits to scale up.

When you start to see money from your efforts, reinvest it back into your business.

It’s really that simple.

Most people want to overcomplicate this business.

They think they need to learn every marketing and traffic method on the internet today.

But if you just keep it simple, you will start seeing results rather fast.

Honestly I think anyone can produce results if they just apply themselves.
