Welcome to my tips for affiliate marketers post, with these tips, you will be able to increase your sales in the affiliate marketing niche.
New affiliate marketers are always looking for the programs that pays the most. They assume that’s the magic formula that they need.
LOL. There is not a magic formula. Or a big red easy button to push.
Experienced marketers know this and use proven marketing practices, combined with years of hard work and dedication.
But Sheldon, the slick sales page said I could turn $7 into $1526 commissions over and over again!
Sure it possible that the program owner actually did this himself, but what you don’t see is the months or even years of work and sacrifice.
That’s just for the entrepreneurs with legit businesses, the scam artists are feeding off your emotions and ripping you off.
These proven marketing practices have worked well before online marketing became popular and is still strong today.
With these tips for affiliate marketers, you will be able to increase your sales and thrive in your niche.
Ok Sheldon, what are these tips for affiliate marketers?
1. Create individual pages that focus on the product you are marketing, including your opt in(s) and nothing more.
If you’re an actual product user yourself, include your own unique review on how they can benefit from the product and buy on your recommendation.
Also include others who have already tried the product. Get permission to use their names and photos and what they have to say about the product.
Make the page attractive, compelling and include calls to action. Each heading should entice the readers to continue reading your content.
Make your special points standout. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and they will want to find out more.
2. Offer something free to your readers.
Notice on this very post, for example, you’ll see my 100% Free Training and my Free Webinar opt-ins on the top right sidebar, where they simply cannot be missed.
The 100% Free Training is for anyone looking for the perfect affiliate program to promote and comes with a bonus package.
Since you’re still reading this, get yourself over to the right sidebar and opt in with your favorite email address and see how I do it.
Already involved with something?
Then get yourself invited to the Free Webinar and watch my Coach Zach Crawford show you how to build a successful online business.
Both of these will be e-mailed to your inbox.
Now, only two things will happen when someone lands on your page.
You get the sale or the prospect leaves the page, never to return again.
If you got the sale, congratulations on a job well done. Was it someone who was ready to buy right now, credit card in hand?
Or maybe it was someone who subscribed to your free training or free webinar where you delivered tremendous value and established the know, like and trust factor.
By emailing your list with useful information, you can remind them of the product they thought they wanted is still available.
It is another opportunity for you to give valuable insight about the product. Just don’t make it sound like a sales pitch.
Focus on important points like how your product can solve whatever problem they are having and how it can make some tasks easier and more enjoyable.
Getting visitors to opt-in to your list(s) is the main goal, even if their not looking to buy right now.
These is how you can educate those who signed up by establishing yourself as an authority and build the trust factor with them.
Do that correctly and they will be looking forward to the next email from you about your products and services.
3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product.
When you send people who haven’t heard of you or your product (cold traffic) to your website, they might not be interested in what you are offering.
If you don’t offer them something valuable for free, they will move on and never come back.
This is why you write blog posts that focus on any hot topic relevant to your niche. This way you are focusing on your target customers and what you blog about might just grab their attention.
What? You don’t have a website or blog? Check out my special!
You should post content on your blog at least 2 to 3 times a week. By continuously blogging, over time, you will draw targeted readers to your site everyday.
Notice I didn’t say you will get 1000 views, 100 new subscribers and 10 sales right off the bat.
Maybe I should have started with “Once Upon A Time”
Don’t get your hopes up and remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services right off the bat.
Over time, when you can generate a 1,000 targeted visits to your website, you can expect to make 10 sales based on the average statistic.
It really isn’t very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.
Put these tips for affiliate marketers to good use.
And if you haven’t done so already, subscribe to my programs and I’ll see you on the inside.
