Everyday in every part of the world, millions of people drag themselves out of bed, shower up, grab a cup of joe, and learn how to fail online.
I’m thinking (and maybe you too) that there has got to be an easier way to make a living.
I know someone who has quit the “9 to 5 grind” and is making a very good living by working on their personal computer from the comfort of his home.
Working from home sounds like an ideal solution to me, and maybe you too.
For some, they quit their jobs and plunge headfirst into internet marketing with no plan.
No idea of what they are doing, no preparation, and no hope of success.
This is how they fail online, and not even realize it.
The fact of the matter is, about 99.9% of all Internet business start-ups fail within the first year.
That’s what happened to me when I first started online, maybe you experienced similar results.
No, I didn’t quit my job, but I figured out how to fail online.
The failure rate is high because people are not serious about working online, like you are at your job.
Success is possible. There IS the 1 out of a thousand attempts that do succeed.
Because success doesn’t happen by accident.
And success isn’t getting lucky. Success happens because of some very important factors.
I’m talking about the struggles and setbacks, from anxiety to self doubt and all the effort to make it work.
No one wakes up today and decides to be an online marketer and then makes money tomorrow.
So don’t believe the “get rich quick” or “the laptop lifestyle” crap.
You should not be impressed with someone’s car, their awesome house and those pretty women, because they are fake.
The person showing selfies on the beach and making it look like they work 1 hour a day, portraying the laptop lifestyle, forgot to tell you they’re working 18 hours a day.
Of course they take an hour off and go to the beach to take selfies lol.
Hook Line and Sinker.
People get into an internet business with the belief that they no longer have to get up and go to work.
They tell themselves:
- I can simply work when I feel like it and still make a good living.
- I don’t have to work hard or work long hours.
People think a system, product, or a person is going to make them successful, and this is why they fail online.
The product you’re selling is not the opportunity itself, it’s YOU.
You’re the opportunity and it’s you that will decide if what you do will be successful.
SO….
You need to go all in with one brand or product, and one method of promotion.
I started promoting multiple products when I first started because I thought, hey “multiple streams of income.”
What I learned is that if I couldn’t effectively market one product, how and where to position it in my sales funnel, how to create an irresistible offer…you get the idea.
I asked myself the obvious question after much time and failure.
How will you make these other products work if you can’t even get one to work?
The answer is you can’t because if you’re struggling in these areas, how will you ever learn to improve?
Might I suggest…
Pick one brand to build because you’re one person. Make it a personal brand because people buy from people.
Focus on one product you really like, ideally something you can make recurring income so you’re not working twice as hard to get new sales every month.
