Try give it a shot and hope that the latest shiny object you are currently involved with actually delivers on their promises like their slick sales page said it would.

“I tried it and it didn’t work”

“I hope this will work”

“I’m going to give it a shot”

These are just a few thoughts from people who join programs and are not really committed.

If this sounds like you (or is you) sorry about that, but you need to hear it from someone who’s been there.

This was me and it was the main reason I was broke, miserable and frustrated with it all.

Try give it a shot and hope.

Most people “try” things or they “give it a shot”, but they never DECIDE they will be successful.

Most people come into this industry with the wrong attitude and want to get rich quick.

There are people who have done it of course, but it’s extremely rare.

Some people you may follow make this look super easy, but what you don’t see is all the time, effort and determination put into the business prior.

I lost my job, bills were piling up and I had no choice but to find another job quick.

Employed once again, but in my job hunt, I found a lot of online marketing opportunities.

I decided to make this “work from home side hustle” work.

So I’m getting up early before work on my laptop trying to learn everything I could.

It became an obsession to just spend money on a problem hoping it was going to work.

After spending dollars I didn’t have and my situation wasn’t getting any better.

I decided to start getting focused and make something work.

I stopped “giving it a shot” and decided whatever I started I was going to finish, no matter what.

If you’re going into anything with “I will try” or “I will give it a shot” attitude, you given yourself an excuse to quit.

If you can’t overcome an obstacle as soon as things get tough, or work shows up, you’ll quit.

This is a business just like any other business or yes even a job.

If you don’t treat it like a business you will make very little money or hobby money at best.

As an employee, when you have a problem, you can usually figure out a solution and move past it.

When you’re in the side hustle mode, remember that the same thing applies here.

As you put in the work you can start to see progress, one step at a time.

This won’t happen overnight, it will require work and sometimes, it won’t be easy.

What I learned from all of this.

It made me more mature.
I learned about structure.
A great deal of discipline.
Learning how to see things through.
It made me a better person.
I learned how to handle adversity.
Forced me out of my comfort zone.
It taught me about sacrifices and best of all…
It made me believe in myself and my abilities.

So stop trying and giving it a shot, just commit to doing it.

No matter how many bumps or obstacles you encounter, figure it out and get back on track.

You will run into these problems and others no matter what you do.

Just relax, you got this.

Just like in everyday life, no matter what happens, you will always handle it, right?

You can make this work when you DECIDE it’s going to work for you.

Affiliate Marketing You’re Not The Only One Struggling.

I love affiliate marketing. It has changed my life, but it wasn’t easy. Although I love affiliate marketing, there are many things that bother me about the industry.

Does this sound familiar?

It’s easy! You’ll be making bank by your second or third month! There is no way to sugar coat this, it’s a lie!

There are many businesses opportunities that offer that type of payout if you are able to invest thousands to get started.

But how many people can do that?

They are out there, but how many people do you personally know that can afford to do that?

Those “get rich quick” and “get rich easy” hustlers have been pushing that “lure” to get people to join their MMO business opportunity for ages.

Is affiliate marketing really easy?

If you are struggling right now, you should know that you aren’t the only one who is struggling.

You’ve seen those webinars where everyone has their “happy face” on and proclaims that they are making wheel barrels full of cash, and that they did it overnight, and it was so easy.

I’ve watched those webinars too and can’t help but think…

If that was true, everybody would be making bank right?

Imagine if all we had to do was to tell people that it is easy, they would be all over it.

But, if it isn’t easy, they might think that there’s something wrong with them and then they’ll quit.

Since it’s easy for everybody else…

It must be my fault.
I’m no good at this.
I knew this wasn’t going to work for me!

People quit affiliate marketing every day because they don’t think they can become successful.

In reality, they could change their life forever if they were given the proper guidance and direction.

If you are struggling right now you need to understand and believe that you are not the only one who is struggling.

So what should you do if you are struggling?

Find a mentor. Someone who is successfully doing what you want to do.
Get on their email list and find their entry level program, if available.

You aren’t the only one who is struggling but if you are determined and willing to listen to the right people you will achieve life changing success.

I believe in you. You should believe in yourself.

I hate my job, what can I do?

“I hate my job!” Who hasn’t said that to themselves occasionally. When you hate your job, you might be actively disengaged and can’t stand to be there.

When you hate your job, you don’t put forth your full effort.

This can hurt your career and potentially damage your future job prospects and affecting your earning potential in the future.

However, there is another way. There is a job that you can do that won’t have you ever thinking “I hate my job!” again.

Earn Easy Money and Never Hate It

If you think it isn’t possible to have a job that you never hate, you haven’t been exposed to the right jobs.

You may not even realize that there are jobs out there that are so amazing that the people who do them never think negatively about them at all.

They wake up each day and are glad to be a part of what they do.

These entrepreneurs look forward to their workdays for a few very good reasons.

People with an affiliate marketing business enjoy so many great aspects during their work day, they have no reason to hate what they do.

The first perk is that they are completely in charge of what they do.

Much of what the typical worker hates about his or her job is that they have a boss who is either unreasonable or unpleasant.

That boss may ask that too much get accomplished in too little time or may promote people who don’t deserve it.

This kind of frustration can make a job unpleasant, but it never has to happen again if you are the owner of your own business.

When you are the boss, you call all the shots.

Once you have signed up with an affiliate marketing program and begin your marketing business, your workday can take any direction that you want.

Imagine never having to work through an energy slump or see the bright day outside and wish you could be out there in it.

You can even work at night if you choose, early in the morning or only on certain days.

Imagine taking time off when you need to and enjoy taking long lunches and vacations.

This kind of flexible schedule eliminates much of the hassle common to the jobs that you’ve hated in the past.

You never have to dread asking for a day off again.

If you think it’s important to take the day off, do it. You don’t answer to anyone but yourself.

When you are the boss of a home business, you don’t have to wish that you could earn more.

Instead, you can earn exactly what you believe your work is worth.

You can earn double what you did at your last job if that’s what you decide to do.

It’s as simple as choosing the right items to promote and putting in the effort to market them.

Plain and simple, this beginner’s guide to affiliate marketing will be your ultimate go to resource, I’m not saying that for effect either.

Being in the affiliate marketing business today is not difficult with all of the current technology at your fingertips.

It is much easier now with modern technology, and assuming that you’re working from home, your day might be something like this.

After getting the kids off to school, you check for new developments. As a marketer, there might be new things to update and statistics to review.

The split test has to be revised. Experienced marketers knows that a split tested landing page can increase sign ups and conversion rates.

Split testing is simply 2 versions of the same page. For example, the text on one page might be different from page two.

Time to review your current and new subscribers you are getting from your campaigns. Who is opening your emails and clicking thru and who hasn’t.

Are your subscribers checking the products out? Have you been meaning to send out some broadcast emails, but haven’t?

There are lots of options here, and as a marketer, following up with your list is one way of building a relationship with your list.

Broadcast emails are just emails you send out to your list when you publish a new blog post, have some tips or advice, an offer to help them etc.

There might be questions to answer from the replies. Reply quickly, nothing can turn off a customer more than an unanswered question.

Nobody wants to be ignored and potential customers are not always the most patient of all people.

OK moving on, next you might log into Facebook and check out your favorite group(s) where you can interact with other affiliates.

This is where discussions can range from things like:

Best way to promote their products.
Learning some new traffic generation method.
Sharing tips and advice is always good.

There may be others in the group, wanting to join the conversation and may be enticed to do so by what you say.

Now would be the best time to see if there are some new things happening in the other Facebook groups.

These same groups are also an important tool in keeping up to date with the newly introduced products.

Here, affiliate marketers put up some promotions that you may want to know about.

There are lots of wannabee affiliate marketers that simply post their affiliate links in these groups, and right on someone else’s post too.

That’s SPAM. Spamming is just posting a link in these groups, hoping that someone will buy and they’ll make a commission.

You want take the time to write (or talk about) the product, so you can become a credible source for the product(s) being promoted.

That accomplishes two things at the same time.

The marketer gets to build the know, like and trust factor, and promote the product as well as the program they are in.

Who knows, someone may be inclined to join.

Time flies. Missed my lunch but quite satisfied with the tasks done.

Ok, so this may not happen all in one day.

But it gives you an idea of how a dedicated affiliate marketer would spend their time during the day.
