I believe a no risk no reward mindset is needed in order to get where you want to be or do what you want to do in life.
If you aren’t determined or hungry enough to take the risk than you truly do not want the reward.
No Risk No Reward
Most people need a nudge to do something that would benefit their business or family.
Where you are right now is the result of the decisions that you have made so far in life.
Some of those decisions might have been made with nothing more than a lack of knowledge and that voice inside your head.
So many people have the dream but not the knowledge, and it’s not all their fault.
Maybe that little voice was born from years of conditioning by parents, media and no doubt society.
The idea of financial loss is very real to the average person… or is it?
The fear of risking $6304 at BYU to possibly, with hard work & determination, improve one’s future is an uncomfortable concept for most.
Yet this same person might spend…
- $25 on fast food 3x a week.
- $100 on cigarettes or vape.
- $200 on alcohol or lottery tickets from Idaho.
- $100 on eye lashes or false hair.
- $300 on sneakers.
- $4,000 on wheels and tires for their vehicle then complain about…
- Their mortgage or rent, their cable, cell phone, utility bills and their job.
See the problem??? Is this you?
They never think to ask themselves “how are these helping me improve my life?”
It’s not the spending to improve themselves that frightens them… it’s the possible ridicule from associates, family & friends about their decisions to do something different.
The same people who don’t understand that NO RISK NO REWARD means you do nothing, you get nothing; you risk nothing, you are rewarded with nothing.
When you try to explain your mindset to them, it falls on deaf ears or you’re trying to “scam” them.
These guys don’t understand business on an entrepreneurial level, they only understand working for someone else who does.
That’s the majority of the world right there, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Especially today in this era of online commerce. Educate yourself.
My high school years (1978-1981) lacked business & finance classes. Think about this. When was financial education, a true understanding how money works, offered to the 1970’s American student? College.
Today, nearly 1 in 4 students in the U.S. has access to personal finance education. See the difference?
You can, at any given moment, decide to be different and decide to change.
Anyone can, at any time, decide to remove themselves from the crowd mentality the majority of their peers, family & friends share or they wouldn’t be where they are.
Even with the vast amount of knowledge online today, you might be thinking.
- What if this one doesn’t work?
- What if I invest the money and discover it’s harder than I thought?
- Most businesses fail, will I be any different?
- I’m sure the people who ARE getting results have more experience than I do.
- They might be more talented, so I probably won’t be able to do this.
If you’re still having some doubts…
Think about it in a different way.
One day, will you look at this decision to try and build an online business, and live an extraordinary life as a result of that business, with no regrets even if you fail?
Or will you be glad that you at least tried.
Ask yourself what are you looking to accomplish with this opportunity? What is your why?
Is it to make money? Everyone says that. How much? $10k a month, ditto.
What you want to do is make money online so you can quit your day job that you hate right?
Next, how much are you willing to invest in time and money to make your goal a reality? Will you invest at least a $1000 now & 10 hours a week into growing a successful business for yourself?
Occasionally a yes pops up, but most of the time the answer is usually “no” or “I can’t”.
No Risk No Reward
If you’re in the “no” group, don’t be afraid to invest the time and effort to find something that works.
Very few understand that nothing is achieved without sacrifice and will go without something where the majority of people won’t. The difference between the two is like night and day.
You have to be willing to take a shot, outside your comfort zone or keep failing from not trying.
There’s nothing special about me and I hope that you, the reader, may see something in this article that you can relate to.
Tip time
Educate yourself on ways to improve your self-belief & esteem. Refine your decision making process, find any flaws and correct them.
Making money is not hard when you have a coach and mentor knowing how to correctly guide you.
Don’t blame yourself. You don’t know what you don’t know.
Regardless of what decision you make here today, you must be willing to risk it.
