Today I want to talk about is making money online legit? Like everyone else I have a day job, and a strong desire to pay off our house and retire as soon as possible. Unlike most people, I actually like my job. However, I have always dreamed about having my own business online. So Is Making Money Online Legit?

When I was in elementary school, I mailed a form from the back of some comic book to become a member of the Junior Sales Club of America. I sold cards to people in my neighborhood and earned 50 cents, or credit towards a prize.

In junior high, I bought Bubble Yum gum and sold pieces to the other kids at school. I sold each piece of gum for a nickel.

After high school, I moved away from home, hired on with some tech firm in their parts dept and found a cheap apartment to live in.

As I worked away for a few dollars an hour, I was determined to find something to buy at low cost and sell it at a higher price, figuring this was a good way to make money. Or so I thought.

This being 1981, no internet, cell phones or cable TV.

In 1981, there were late night TV Infomercials.

There was a gentleman named Carlton Sheets on that night and his “No Money Down” system for buying real estate for pennies on the dollar and selling them at a higher price sold me. Hook. Line. Sinker.

I called the number on the screen, gave them my credit card number and got the system mailed to me.

After work, we would go check out properties for sale in my area, writing down the details.

That was as far as I ever got, with no credit history or collateral, you can’t buy houses with no money down.

So that didn’t work for me. I keep trying out different ideas but continued to come up short time & time again.

To be honest, my drive to work for myself still hasn’t gone away despite my past failures.

There’s something about doing my own thing that’s ALWAYS appealed to me. And, it always will.

A few years later…

I got an interesting letter in the mail. The top half explained the program where you had to send 1 dollar to 5 people on the list and put YOUR name and address at the top of the list and mail it to “opportunity seekers.”

So I went to the local office supply and got 100 copies printed out, got some stamps and envelopes ready for when the “fresh opportunity seekers mailing list” arrived in the mail.

The total cost of that stupidity was about $50 bucks. That was it, time to forget about the dream and move on.

Fast forward to 2013.

Over the years, I’ve spent money, lost money and bought into programs that didn’t make me rich overnight.

In 2013, I decided that I was going to give online marketing a REAL go. Not looking for the next get rich quick scheme or push button million dollar software!

But to build a legitimate online business. I’ve spent many hours researching what I really wanted to do.

Was there something I could be passionate about. Something that I could answer someones question…is making money online legit? YES. Here’s how to make legit money online, ethically, and consistently as well.

I got “all in” with Empower Network.

I’ve dabbled in many things as you’ve read above but this time, I got focused. I zeroed in on that one thing…

Is Making Money Online Legit?

The fact is I know that success that can come from online ventures. I earned a $5,000 commission when I enrolled someone who went all in. That was one of the best feelings EVER.

Unfortunately, with EN, your first sale goes to your sponsor. And a lot of people say they got ripped off.

Empower Network filed bankruptcy in 2017.

Live and learn right?

Now I have daily challenges I have to deal with, I’m just your normal every day person JUST LIKE YOU.

So building an online value based business is a daunting task to say the least!

I’m not educated beyond high school. Maybe you’re more educated than I am.

Doesn’t matter…point is…if I can do it…YOU CAN TOO!

The real life steps I’m taking to building my online income.

I want to use my blog as a way to network with other like minded people and build friendships with people regardless of where they’re in the world.

This starts by mastering blogging. I enjoy writing and getting outside of my comfort zone. I will use these 2 philosophies to help me succeed.

You see, it’s actually really simple.

“If you always do the same thing you’re always going to get the same results.”

When I think back on my biggest success in life its because I pushed myself outside of my comfort zones. I took massive action and adapted the philosophy & mindset for success.

And applying these philosophies in the online business world, it’s just a matter of time before I get the results I want.

I know it’s going to be hard, but it’s going to be worth it!
