Are You Overwhelmed?

March 24, 2019 By Sheldon Leave a Comment

So what I want to talk about is if you ever get overwhelmed, it’s because you’re just consuming information and then doing nothing with it.

overwhelmed

That’s why you get overwhelmed.

If you keep learning something and then do nothing with that information, that makes you feel overwhelmed. But, when you take action, you get your own personal experience that you can share.

That means you’re constantly focusing on getting better. When someone focuses on their niche, they become more valuable to their audience. They’re constantly sharing their ideas that you can use in your niche too.

Now here’s what I think overwhelm is.

When most people go through any kind of training for example and then they’ll say…

“I’m overwhelmed, I don’t know what to do and I can’t figure it out.”

It’s a great start in basically take action on learning, then they don’t act on what they learned.

And overwhelm happens when you keep studying and you do nothing with that information.

You keep studying more and then you find another “easier” method and now you’re taking all this different information in and of course, this person has their own way of doing things.

Now you’re like AHHH…this person says this and this person says that, I don’t know who to trust.

That’s why you have to choose one person to follow, you got to listen to them and you got to implement it, that’s how you’re going to get results.

You can’t pick 5 different people to learn from all at once, because all 5 of those people realistically are going to have their own way of doing things.

So for me I got one mentor and I really just immerse myself in what he teaches me

And I rarely get overwhelmed.

Realize this, you don’t go into Barnes and Noble and think…

“Oh my god there are so many books and I just I don’t know where to start, I am overwhelmed.”

You usually walk to the section that you want you scroll through, go down the aisle until you find a book on whatever topic you searching for.

Investing In Yourself

March 9, 2019 By Sheldon Leave a Comment

Investing in yourself is the best decision you will ever make. This can be something which can help you get to your goals a lot quicker than anything else.

Investing in yourself means buying books, training courses, business opportunities or mentorships from people who know how to get results.

This is something in which I gained a lot of value from, and if you are now investing in yourself and your education, decide where you need to be and start building some sort of strategic plan.

There are two types of people.

There are people that will learn their way to the top of something and then there are people who buy their way in.

This really inspires me when I thought about these two types of people, one goes in a lot faster than the other because, the people that buy their way in instantly have access to the people at the top.

Compared to learning their way up, and that means a lot of time and you’ve got to do it on your own.

And that brings up something interesting.

You can always tell who will be successful and one who won’t be by how willing they are to invest their own money in themselves.

Someone destined to fail.

“I will invest the very least to get started and if I see results, I will then spend more money to build my business.”

Someone who will succeed.

“I will invest in books, a mentor, a business opportunity or whatever it takes in order to reach my goals. If I just get one good piece of information from the training I buy that can help me in my business it will be worth it.”

Do you see the difference in how people who will never make it in this business and the people who will be successful think?

Successful people are willing to invest in themselves because they know it’s the best way they can ever spend their money.

Once you create a successful business you can buy anything you want without caring how much it costs.

You can be cheap now and spend your money on things and work the rest of your life to buy things that will never make you happy.

So I believe that’s really a great lesson, if you don’t have the money, you’re gonna have to learn your way in or work hard enough until you can buy your way in.

Investing in yourself is incredible.

Just be confident with what you want. Especially if it’s something in which you know is actually going to apply in your business or in yourself. And you’re confident it’s something that’s going to make you more money and take you to a next level, then by all means, do it.

That’s how you expand your knowledge. Of course, there’s people out there who think it’s a waste of money investing in yourself.

But investing in yourself is something that’s always gonna stay with you regardless of where you go or what you do.

Investing in yourself is definitely the way to accelerate your learning and accelerating your learning will speed up your way to success.

Common Mistakes To Avoid

February 17, 2019 By Sheldon Leave a Comment

Some common mistakes to avoid when you’ve just found what appears to be a really great opportunity online, and you really would like to become involved. The product is unmatched, and you are completely mesmerized by the platform.

Your mind starts thinking about all the great things you could do with all of your new-found wealth. Wow, what a feeling! But, hold on.

You’ve never done anything like this before.

You don’t know the first thing about marketing, websites, or putting videos on YouTube.

You, as an affiliate, must bring others into your business as a team, and guide them to success. How do you do this?

Don’t worry, my friend, there is hope. There are answers. In this post, I will point out some common mistakes to avoid being done by new internet business owners, and how to avoid them.

Take these things to heart, put them into practice, and watch yourself thrive as an entrepreneur.

The first common mistake to avoid is thinking you have to know everything before you start. This is a big one, because this determines whether you even jump into your opportunity or not. You do NOT have to have all the answers first.

Knowing the basics is a great start.

Point people in the right direction with facebook live, webinars, etc., and give your team all the information you can. You can study and learn as you go along, and just embrace the process.

Another common mistake to avoid is waiting until everything is perfect before proceeding. Let’s face it, perfection is not reality. You do not have to wait until your website is perfect before putting on the web.

You don’t have to wait till your videos are perfect before putting them on YouTube. Your follow-up emails do not have to be perfect. You can always go back and change something later.

In fact, you should be consistently and constantly changing, getting better, and improving all the time, so if you wait till all is perfect, NOTHING WILL EVER HAPPEN.

Accept imperfections, and roll with it. Put your pride aside, and give yourself a break. Just do it!

Another common mistake to avoid is not implementing anything. As you learn, you MUST implement what you learn, as soon as you learn it. It’s like the pipe under your sink.

If things go down the pipe, and cannot escape the other end, what happens? It gets clogged. Same with you. If you fill yourself with knowledge and not implement it, you get clogged with knowledge, and nothing happens.

Not implementing what you learn comes from the fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of not knowing what to do if someone calls you with questions.

Let that fear go. Gain your confidence and do not stop putting your newly learned skills out there.

Next, people often get frustrated over new technology or skills set and freeze. Be forewarned, hang-ups will happen! There will be some things that don’t work right, or problems you will encounter.

That’s ok!

There is always an answer. Don’t be embarrassed. Also, there is customer service for just about everything you would be doing, anyway, so you should NEVER be left on your own.

DON’T QUIT OR FREEZE! There is a benefit from having to troubleshoot. When you have an issue, and learn how to fix it, who gets to benefit from your knowledge besides you? YOUR NEW RECRUITS! Your experience is invaluable to them. Pass it on, and embrace the wisdom you are gaining.

The next common mistake to avoid is not focusing on the next step. Now, you don’t want to do 30 things at once, but you should always be aware of what you will do next.

Organizational skills play a big part in this one. When you first join an opportunity, hopefully you have picked one that has great leadership and will tell you what your first few steps should be.

Do not ignore these steps. Always have a “To-Do” list to keep you on track, and be ready for your tasks mentally and physically. It WILL seem a little overwhelming, no doubt, but that will pass.

Get in the game, and stay in the game. It’s a competitive world out there, so never neglect your plan of action.

And, last but certainly not least, don’t forget about PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. This is crucial. Necessary. A MUST! Success begins with your thinking. Your goals, dreams and desires.

You cannot ignore your need to improve INSIDE YOURSELF. Make time for personal development every day. Start your day with it, if you want.

So, there you have it! Now jump in, with all your heart and soul, avoid these mistakes, and watch yourself evolve and prosper.

What is the best system for generating leads?

February 16, 2019 By Sheldon Leave a Comment

Let’s talk about the best system for generating leads that has a long track record of success so you have something to work with. I will explain how the system works and the tools that you will need to make it work.

best system for generating leads

If you duplicate what I’m about to share with you, you will begin generating a consistent stream of leads for your business. Most if not all of the top producers in this industry use this method to recruit into their business.

You Need Your Own Website.

Most companies will provide their reps with a company website, but they are almost worthless for lead generation. They have plenty of company information on them but are poorly built for attracting leads.

If you want to get serious about your lead generation, you have to buy your own domain and hosting.

You Need An Effective Capture Page.

Once you have purchased a good domain name, the next step is to create a simple but effective capture page. A good capture page will offer some type of incentive for the lead to leave their name and email address.

This can be anything from a free e-book, to a webinar to a conference call or any other type of information that appeals to this potential lead. Capturing their information is the key to making this system work.

You should be using an email autoresponder at this point to communicate with your lists. You must be able to begin building a list of leads that you then can share information with.

Once they are on your list, you have many options at this point.

Drive Traffic to Your Capture Page

There are many effective methods for driving traffic to your capture page. Some of them are free such as SEO, writing articles, creating videos and blogging.

Others cost money such as Google AdWords, Facebook PPC. I won’t go in depth on driving traffic in this post but there are many good ways to do it.

The key here is realizing that you are sending traffic to your landing page, not your company website. As the traffic hits your website, people will start filling out your form to access the information.

This is how your list will start growing. It can grow from a few dozen to a few thousand leads quickly.

Monetize Your List

This is one of the most important steps in the whole process.

This will generate income that will pay for you to run this system. If the system pays for itself or creates excess cash flow, you are in fact generating free leads.

You can run this system indefinitely if it produces leads and costs you no money long-term.

The way you monetize your list is by offering products or services to your leads list that will help them solve a problem or accomplish a task.

Most of the companies offering products to people on the internet have an affiliate program attached to them that allows you to get paid for referring their products or services to others.

If someone on your list is looking for a good autoresponder and you happen to refer them to a good autoresponder service, that service will pay you for the customer.

Your lead gets a new service, the company gets a new customer and you get a commission. That is a win win situation. Marketing products and services to your leads list is essential for this system to work.

Build Relationships with Your List (This is Huge)

This really is the magic that makes this system so effective.

As your lead lists grow, they will begin a relationship with you and start looking to you for leadership and advice. They will ask questions and seek your input.

The more that you help them out, the more loyal they become to you. Many of these people might be in a different company then you are in.

That’s fine. By helping your list out, you are creating a powerful bond that takes you to the next step.

Invite Them to Join Your Company

If you have been helpful to the leads on your list and provided leadership, a time will come when they might be looking at other business opportunities.

They will start asking you about your business and how things are going for you. The advantage you have over everybody else is that you have taken the time to build a relationship with them.

They are not looking to join your company, they want to join you and be a part of your team. These are the best leads possible.

They will not jump from business to business like a lot of people do. They have a connection with you and will tend to hang in with you longer.

You can deliver massive value that generate strong incomes by simply duplicating the system I laid out here. It’s easy, effective and profitable.

Compare this with the standard advice you get. Make a list of your friends and family, call them up and pitch them on your biz opp.

I think you see that there are better ways to build a big and profitable online business.

Creating a list, building a relationship with them and then inviting them into your team is the secret of generating leads and growing a successful business.

After reading this you know if a system like this could benefit you in your business.

If you would like to see in detail exactly how I generate dozens of leads a day using this system, I invite you to start your free training here

Finding new clients on Facebook

January 30, 2019 By Sheldon Leave a Comment

Finding new clients on Facebook can be challenging but it is the most effective way to network online. Whether you’re an entrepreneur or simply an affiliate of someone else’s business, you must connect through social media in order to find new prospects for your business.

finding new clients on facebook

How to find the perfect client.

As you are prepare your strategy, you may be wondering exactly how you’re going to learn about finding new clients on Facebook. Naturally, the first step is to identify exactly who your perfect client is. Next, you need to determine exactly where that person hangs out on social media.

However, keep in mind that finding your perfect prospective clients can be accomplished in a variety of different ways. Certainly there are many business people who do all or most of their business online, and there many other people who have real world stores.

There are unlimited opportunities with them as well, provided that you can walk into their place of business.

Keep in mind that depending on your location, your prospects may hang out online exclusively. This is where your strategy comes into play and why careful planning always produces the best results.

Sometimes connecting with people exclusively online might distract you from some of the real world opportunities that you could be taking advantage of. Remember to keep an open mind and be solutions oriented for your particular business.

Combining Facebook with the needs and wants of your prospects.

If you are on Facebook, chances are good that you will find your prospects there as well. After all, Facebook is very popular for a good reason. However, if you have done due diligence and are familiar with all Facebook has to offer, it will be pretty simple to match them with your prospects. Especially when it comes to your prospects and you know exactly what they need and want and how they think.

Remember, even if you find that your prospective clients are socializing on Facebook, there are other popular social networks that may provide a great deal of information about them. This is where some other solutions will come into play. Utilizing these other social networks will depend on what business or service that your prospects own or operate.

What’s next?

You should have a pretty good idea who your prospects are and where they hang out, the next thing is to find out what they like doing and to learn what they are passionate about.

Something you may have noticed is who they interact with. Maybe you can introduce yourself and connect with them. You really don’t know how useful these types of contacts will turn out until you try.

All conversations and relationships are two-sided. So, focus on making the other person’s need and wants a higher priority than your own. Of course, if you meet the other person’s needs, yours should be met too.

Choosing the right approach.

Now, it’s crucial to choose the right approach. The last thing that you want to do is to come on too strong with your prospects.

Because you are trying to start, build, and form a long-lasting relationship. This needs to be done in a normal, respectful manner.

The other person must understand that simply knowing you is much better than not knowing you at all.

Right from the start, you need to clearly show how valuable you are to the other person and how sharing a relationship with you will benefit the other person tremendously.

It takes time, effort, and patience to accomplish that in a normal way that makes the relationship productive over time.

However, remember that you might not see any immediate results. You should establish a time frame and if you don’t see results by that time, you should probably reconsider.

Recap

These steps will help you to connect with the perfect prospects for your business. Then, you will need to interact in ways that turn your prospects into clients.

By engaging your prospects effectively you will enrich your relationship. Your goal is to get the other person to buy what you are selling.

Sometimes that person will buy your product and/or service. Others will sometimes buy into what you stand for and what you believe in.
