Are people looking at your business opp really serious? Or did I miss something? I feel like I might be outside of an inside joke or something.

If you are serious, I’m just going to tell you that as an entrepreneur, you’re not going to find something that will pay you well and right now.

Especially if you’re not willing to any invest time or money. It’s futile.

My favorite: You sign up for free, post in a group or two and then you get money in your account the next day!

With that mindset, they have demonstrated that they absolutely no clue what it takes to earn money online, afraid to invest!

I’m involved in 2 of the easiest programs ever.

Still takes money and a time investment, maybe an hour or more each day.

What I see: When their free program does not work for them a day after they signed up, they jump to the next free one!

Typical: And if they don’t get rich in the first day then, clearly, it’s a scam.

They will get absolutely nowhere until they change their mindset!

Anything that is going to pay you will take time and money, plus a lot of hard work, sacrifice and commitment.

Are people looking at your business opp really serious?

What I believe is this, you may not have the money but that’s why you need to figure out how to get it.

If you really want an opportunity you’ll figure out a way to make it happen.

The people that do, they change their families lives.

The ones that won’t will always be looking for the opportunity but will never see it because it looks different than what they want it to.

Even if it’s not a large investment there is some form of investment.

The great thing about some of the opportunities that people need to understand is that the investment is actually small compared to other ones.

But there will always be an investment of some kind.

If you don’t invest money, you will invest time with your skill… and to be in business for yourself it takes both.

When someone looks for a business that gives them something for nothing, they will attract people who are looking for something for nothing.

A legitimate business has costs associated with it. They can be low, often under $1000.00 or less but nonetheless there.

There are some costs of doing business, some more than others.

If there are products involved other than just selling common items, it is important that they use the products so they can honestly promote them from experience.

I’ve hit a mental block. There are so many different things that I want to do and I’m second guessing whether affiliate marketing is right for me.

I’ve hit a mental block.

Maybe this has happened to you recently, you feel paralyzed by indecision.

I can’t tell if I’m trying to make a smart, well thought out decision about continuing or if I’m self-sabotaging.

Been working in affiliate marketing and studying it for most of my free time for the last 4 months and nothing is happening.

I haven’t seen any results yet and I’m struggling with the idea if this is what I actually want to do, or if I’m just wasting my time.

If you’ve had thoughts similar to those last 3 sentences, you’re not alone.

Everyone thinks that entrepreneurship is an easy, fast and simple way to replace your day job and you’ll never hit a mental block.

Regardless of where you are in your journey.

The reality is that you will have to train your mind so you can handle anything that comes your way.

Every step I take I “hit a mental block” figuratively speaking.

Some days nothing can hold me back. I may get mad, turn green and double in size, but I always bounce back.

I have a LOT of four letter words in my vocabulary and QUIT isn’t one of them.

Being an employee for many years conditions people to think…”I did 8 hours of work I get 8 hours of pay.”

As an entrepreneur you put in a lot of upfront work to get things off the ground before you see money coming in.

Just like each person is unique, so is everyone’s learning curve.

Each person IS different and when they hit a mental block, they compare themselves to other people which is not a good habit to ever get into.

Being Optimistic

If there’s one thing I’m being optimistic about, its affiliate marketing. Especially when new marketers complain about how hard it is, how they’re about to give up, how they cannot do this or that task.

Forget the obstacles.

When you’re being optimistic, you don’t think in terms of obstacles. You think in terms of opportunity and how you can overcome those obstacles.

When starting your business, don’t get discouraged if you don’t see results fast.

If you’re serious, remember that all successful people put in the work.

Sure, it’s easy to think that someone is lucky, really smart or just gifted.

There’s no doubt that they put in the work early on to reach their level of success.

I had more failures before I started gaining momentum.

As you learn from each failure, you’ll get better over time.

It’s important being optimistic from the start and really define why you’re starting this business in the first place.

I see people complaining on Facebook how they spent money and didn’t get results right away! Funny, this business doesn’t always work that way.

You will hit obstacles during your journey, but if you really want this bad enough, you’ll stay the course and keep going until you make this work.

People go to college for years and then have to spend years working their way up to make a decent living and pay off their student loans.

With an online business for example, you can put in a couple years worth of work and have life changing income in 1 year that most people spend 20 years to earn.

That’s a small price to pay to learn a few skills and to remain consistent during your pursuit to reach your goals.

Don’t give up on your dreams before you ever get any real results.

Just pick a business, don’t allow yourself to be easily distracted and remain consistent everyday until you get there.

A super affiliate is always a top earner in whatever program they join. They usually are the 10% who make 90% of the sales in the marketplace.

These top 10% super affiliates are not only making the sales, but simply using some basic strategies that all marketers use.

With marketing strategies that are well defined, a super affiliate will push their limits, and believes in the product or tools of the trade.

Man, I gotta pick it up.

These were my reactions, I was too busy learning and looking for the next big thing that would help me understand everything about this business.

I’ll tell you a little secret that will help you understand everything you need to know about affiliate marketing? Ready?

Experience.

And the only way to get that experience is to keep going.

Keep making and learning from those mistakes on your way to understanding this business.

The only way to ever truly understand what you are doing is to fail often.

I can outline every little tip I’ve ever learned, but you still need to learn it for yourself.
