Today’s post is about how to be helpful with network marketing. This morning, I got a new friend request on Facebook. I’m thinking cool, probably in response to yesterdays blog post. So first I check out their Facebook profile to see if they’re going to be helpful with network marketing tips and advice.
What appears is a scantily clad pretty young lady showing off her new bra.
Probably not a picture that most women would want associated with their profile.
When someone uses a picture like this, it could be an elaborate marketing strategy to drive the most traffic to their page. Or worse…

Of course when I SEE a link like that from someone I just met, I don’t even read it.
I’ve already labeled you as a SPAMMER.
This is NOT how to be helpful with network marketing, so don’t ever so this!
What should you do?
It’s okay to send out friend requests. And it’s wise to engage with them if they accept.
BUT… To send them a link in your first message? You may as well tell that person.
“I don’t know or care about you, just “buy my shit!”
Here’s 5 tips to TRULY be Helpful with Network Marketing.
1. Engage People.
Reach out like you did earlier but ask them an open ended question to grab their attention.
Being a marketer, you should understand that its NEVER about you, and NEVER about your product.
People simply want to know “what’s in it for them” and have your conversation geared towards how you can be of VALUE and SERVICE to them.
2. Speak TO Them.
If you can get people onto Facebook call, Google hangout, Skype call….
The best way to interact with people is face to face. Even a virtual one is best for (business) relationships.
Remember to make eye contact, focus on the conversation and give them your full attention.
3. Give Them What They Want.
Just tell people what they really want to hear. The straight up truth, your own story, or simply a opinion.
Because they are YOUR ideal client, they must believe in you before they’ll act on your recommendation.
If they choose not to continue, they were never going to buy from you in the first place. MOVE ON!
4. You Must Be Conversational.
Learn how to have a conversation. I’m sure you know what I mean…begin with something that’s important to them. Ask how they are & what they do. Learn and genuinely care about people.
Obvious Tip: If people are already on the “call” with you, they’re ALREADY interested!
They want to follow your thought process so be genuine & go through it with them.
Try NOT to screw it up okay?
5. Be Consistent.
This goes beyond the first call or interaction! This is where champions are made.
Show up every day and care about your potential client/customer before, during, & after the sale!
Stay in touch with them & keep them engaged by sharing more of your stories, how you’re developing and what you’re doing.
And how it benefits THEM (always remember to add that in, they’ll love you for it).
Just a little bit of wisdom that I wanted to share with you. It annoys me and I’m sure you’re the same way too.
So my advice to the young lady, put on a shirt and read this 5 times & never spam people your link again unless they ASK for it.
The world of network marketing is FULL of endless possibilities!
Be genuine, be helpful with network marketing and it will repay you quick faster than you even realize.
