Have you been in affiliate marketing for awhile and driving traffic, but not making any sales? You need to be the person you want to attract.

Hmm, that got me thinking about how to be the person you want to attract.

Do they think you’re a dreamer? Or think you’re a bit crazy, or maybe they talk about you behind your back.

Do they dismiss you when you passionately talk about your goals and what you want to achieve?

Look, you’re not alone my FRIEND.

When I started my journey years ago my boss rolled his eyes, my friends smirked at me, my wife doubted me and my parents pretty much told me, you need to finish school and maybe attend college and get a real job.

I remember telling my parents that I’m going to be rich someday.

Early on in grade school, I was getting bubble gum and selling each piece for a nickel.

In junior high, I got into motocross and thought about becoming a professional BMX rider.

In high school, I got my license and a car so I quit BMX all together and got a job.

I started thinking this is good as it gets and my goal of being financially independent was just wishful thinking.

Somewhere along the line, I gave up, I quit and threw in the towel just like most people do.

Everyone starts off in life with big goals and dreams, but society and day to day life knock us down.

We’re told that getting a job and working for someone else is the solution to our problems.

But take a look around America right now and people are losing their jobs, college grads are working at fast food establishments and restaurants.

There has never been a better time to become an entrepreneur, but you still won’t convince your friends, your family or anyone who doesn’t understand the concepts of becoming wealthy.

Be the person you want to attract.

So if people think you’re crazy and think you’re a dreamer, and if most people think you have lost your marbles, I’m here to tell you that they’re right.

You need to embrace your craziness, you need to embrace your child like ability to dream big and you need to love your crazy thoughts that fuel you to build a better lifestyle for yourself and your family.

Dreamers and crazy people are CEO’s, own billion dollar corporations and they’re the reason the normal people have jobs.

Do you think people told Steve Job’s he’s crazy for thinking up the iPod, the iPhone and iPad.

He changed the game for ever.

Did you know everyone laughed in Henry Ford’s face when he told people I want to create a 8 cylinder engine?

They told him it couldn’t be done!!!!

Now we have engines with a lot more than 8 cylinders.

If you’re reading this and you have a desire for a better lifestyle then you need to embrace your crazy ways.

If your friends, your spouse and everyone around you doubt you then it might be best to not openly share your ideas with them until you’re successful.

But….don’t let it discourage you.

It doesn’t mean they want you to fail.

Most of these people are just trying to “protect you”.

They don’t want you to “get your hopes up”.

And…..they just want to do what they think is best for you.

Don’t let this discourage you or detract you from getting what you want out of life.

Use it for motivation and know that eventually when they see the results they will turn into your biggest supporters.

The key is to never lose that love, the desire and that passionate to create a better lifestyle for yourself.

Be the person you want to attract.

When you replace I wish with I will, it might be the answer to a problem and the solution to most people’s problems.

Most people stop themselves from reaching their goals or their true calling in life.

They just “STOP”.

Then they spend time trying to analyze why they stopped.

They consult their friends, revisit their past, they build false beliefs in their heads to justify why they stopped and sometimes even seek help from other people to help justify why they stopped.

Ever been here?

Ever felt this way?

Here’s the simple solution…

If you have stopped trying to reach for your goals it’s because you’re not willing to do what is required to reach your desired result.

It’s really that simple.

It’s painful to swallow, but it’s the truth.

Knowing this gives you power.

So moving forward stop letting what you think you don’t know how to do or what you don’t feel stop you from reaching your goals.

If there’s anything you want to know, you can learn how to do.

Anything you can’t learn, you can find someone who can do it for you.

Anything you feel is stopping you is simply a feeling trying to protect you and get you to play it safe.

When you truly realize this and are willing to do what is required to get the result, you won’t let your emotions (feelings) or what you think you don’t know how to do stop you anymore.

You will find a way because getting the result is important to you.

What are your goals? Goals are something that will help set you up for success no matter which business model you decide on.

Your short term goals are daily, weekly and monthly, long term can be semi annual and one year or even 5 years.

Unrealistic expectations is why most affiliate marketers fail and quit.

I’m talking about if you decide on affiliate marketing, thinking that it’s going to make you rich overnight.

And believing that it involves nothing more than an occasional post on your favorite social media site.

You are going to be very disappointed.

Also, don’t quit your day job just yet because you think you need to quit and focus exclusively on this.

Instead, you need to have realistic short and long term goals.

The Advantages of Affiliate Marketing might seem like a lot of wins for the product owners, but it’s really not as clear cut as you think.

When you think about it, creating a product takes a lot of time, effort, money and skill.

You can hire someone or do it yourself but either way…

This means a lot of money or a huge time investment before you even get your product ready to sell.

And this is your reputation, or brand, so the product needs to be the best.

Selling something that is low quality will completely stop people from buying from you again and make you lose the trust and authority factor.

At the same time, people will be able to tell that your product is a lesser quality, resulting in fewer sales and more refunds.

So if you are new to this, you should become an affiliate marketer.

But it goes much deeper than this…

When you create a product, there’s no guarantee that it will even sell.
